Motion to approve invoices from Green & Bradford Inc. for engineering services for $3,491.15 for the Northeastern 30” Sanitary Sewer Phase 1 Project and to forward to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) for fund disbursement and approve payment of same pending disbursement from the IEPA

Motion to authorize and direct the Mayor to sign Pay Request #7 from Plocher Construction in the amount of $576,559.88 for work on the New Water Treatment Plant and forward the request to IEPA Low Interest Loan Program for disbursement and approve payment of same pending receipt of disbursement from IEPA, this conditioned upon receipt of signed mechanics lien waivers in this amount and recommendation by the Project Engineer that the work has been satisfactorily performed

Finance – Motion to recommend to the City Council to authorize and direct the Mayor to sign a 36 month contract with Direct Energy Motion to recommend to the City Council to recommend to the City Council to present contract for Insured Cash Sweep to City Attorney for review, and once approved, direct and authorize the Mayor to sign said contract Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the plans of Downtown

Taylorville.org Lake Taylorville Veterans Point Memorial Motion to recommend to the City Council to direct the City Attorney to amend the Ordinance to modify liquor license fees as presented Motion to recommend to the City Council to accept the Treasurer’s Report as presented

Ordinance – Motion to recommend to the City Council to direct the City Attorney to prepare a draft Ordinance for solar energy facilities as a Special Use in the City of Taylorville

Motion to approve and/or ratify payment of bills ($966,936.68)

• Per subparagraph (g) of 5 ILCS 120/2.06, this portion of the City Council Meeting is reserved for any person wishing to address the Council on any relevant subject matters concerning the City. The Illinois Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/1 et seq.) mandates NO action shall be taken on subject matters not listed on the agenda, but the Council may direct staff to address the topic or refer the subject matter to a future Council and/or Committee Meeting. If anyone wishes to address the Council, please provide your name and address, limit your comments or presentation to three (3) minutes, and avoid repetitious comments. Thank you.

Motion to go into Closed Session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(1)and(c)(2) to discuss the vacancy in the City Treasurer office and/or the appointment, employment and compensation of personnel to fill the vacancy or another created position in the City Treasurer/Water office and to further discuss any and all subject matters relating to any and all of the aforesaid subject matters thereto, and to include, if present the following persons to be present during all or part of such closed session, namely: the Mayor, Aldermen, City Clerk, City Treasurer, Human Resource Manager, and any and all such persons as the Mayor may decide during this City Council Meeting and/or during such closed session.
