Industry Fire Protection District responded to 20 calls in 2017 - 17.6 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Industry included 17 fires - five structure fires, six vehicle fires and six other fires.

In all, the department saw $2,680 in fire loss - or about $158 per fire.

The department also received three false calls.

The Industry Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $148,697 in 2017.
