Chapin Rural Fire responded to two calls in 2017 - same as the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Chapin Rural Fire included two fires - one structure fire and one other fire.

In all, the department saw $300,000 in fire loss - or about $150,000 per fire.
