Western Community Unit School District 12 recently issued the following announcement.
We are excited to be kicking off a new school year. Here is information on the schedule for the first week of school.
Open house schedule (Tuesday, August 14th):
Western Elementary School
5:00-6:00pm K-5th grade students and parents are invited to tour the building, visit assigned classroom(s), and meet the teachers.
Western Junior High School
6:00-6:15pm Parents and students are invited to meet in the gym with adminstration and staff.
6:15-7:00pm Parents and students are invited to tour the building, visit assigned classrooms, and meet the teachers.
Western High School
5:30-6:00pm Freshmen orientation will be held in the cafeteria.
5:30-6:30pm Parents and students are invited to tour the building, visit assigned classrooms, and meet the teachers.
Wednesday, August 15th is the first day of classes. Junior High schedule will be 8:00-3:00; Elementary and High School schedule will be 8:15-3:15. Thursday, August 16th and Friday, August 17th will run on the same time schedules.
