Beardstown Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 27.
The “88 Hoops Classic will be a basketball showcase with ten area teams. BASA will be selling hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches at the concession stand. BASA will have spirit table with apparel, hats, decals for sale. 50/50 tickets to purchase as well as a Silent Auction. All proceeds raised will go to Beardstown Area Special Athletes. Posting of the colors will be at 10 am.
