Report: Pleasant Hill spent $11,784 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Pleasant Hill Community Unit School District 3 is up 15.4 percent from five years ago, according to a West Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Pike County school district spent $10,208 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,784 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 311 to 315.

Pleasant Hill's spending in 2017-18 was 11.6 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
