Report: Illini West spent $10,549 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Illini West High School District 307 is up 8.6 percent from five years ago, according to a West Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Hancock County school district spent $9,712 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,549 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 395 to 341.

Illini West's spending in 2017-18 was 20.9 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
