2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Schuyler County?

There were 27 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live in Schuyler County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that 26 men and one women were released in Schuyler County. Of the parolees, three were veterans, and the median age was 49. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2016, and the oldest was a 76-year-old man convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2006.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Willie Hollimon. He was convicted of a sex crime in 1985 when he was 26 years old. He is now 60.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in 2018 in each Schuyler County municipality.
