Q3 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Schuyler County?

There were eight offenders released on parole during the third quarter that live in Schuyler County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Schuyler County were men. Of the parolees, one is a veteran, and the median age is 45. The youngest parolee was a 24-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 61-year-old man sentenced for a sex crime in 1998.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Willie Hollimon. He was convicted of a sex crime in 1985 when he was 26 years old. He is now 60.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter in each Schuyler County municipality.
