Q1 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Schuyler County?

There were three offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Schuyler County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Schuyler County were men. The median age of the parolees was 65. The youngest parolee was a 61-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2008, and the oldest was a 72-year-old man sentenced for homicide in 2003.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Joseph Perrilliat. He was convicted of homicide in 2003 when he was 56 years old. He is now 72.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter in each Schuyler County municipality.
