There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62321, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Taylorville zip code. The 54-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 1 year in prison for a crime involving drugs in 2017 when he was 52 years old.
