There was one offender released on parole during the fourth quarter living near Illinois zip code 62098, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Shawnee zip code. The 25-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 4 years in prison for a property crime in 2016 when he was 22 years old.
