The data shows that the 25 released offenders living in the Rushville zip code were men. Of the parolees, three were veterans, and the median age was 49. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2016, and the oldest was a 65-year-old man convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2006.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Willie Hollimon. He was convicted of a sex crime in 1985, when he was 26 years old. He is now 61.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
