South Jacksonville home prices fall in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in South Jacksonville fell by $4,700 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $89,250 - a 5% decrease over the $93,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in South Jacksonville in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in South Jacksonville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,846, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
