Closing set for October 9th if Bond Ordinance passed. Member Schwerer explained, the Board Members have not seen the ordinance, so he was questioning what are the interest rates, net interest cost is 2.9689%, the final rate. In July they used a rate of 3.25% to the Finance Committee, market has dropped since and went up in the last week again. On the original schedule it was an 11 year payback, because of the lower interest rate, one year was able to be dropped and it’s a 10 year payback. Member Marcott then asked, what is the total amount of the 218, it is 2.96%, total interest for taxable bonds it is $95,124.47 and for the tax- exempt bonds, it is $228,633.47, so those two numbers added together. That does include the cost of the issue as well.
