Q2 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Morgan County?

There were 14 offenders released on parole during the second quarter of 2019 that live in Morgan County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that 12 men and two women were released in Morgan County. Of the parolees, one is a veteran, and the median age is 35. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2018, and the oldest was a 54-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Alex L. Robertson. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2013 when he was 27 years old. He is now 34.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2019 in each Morgan County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
