McDonough County Finance Committee met Feb. 12.

The monthly Finance Committee meeting was held at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, 3rd Floor Law Library. Committee members present were County Chair Scott Schwerer, Larry Aurelio, Letha Clark, Rod McGrew, and Trevor Toland. Others in attendance included County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes, Keith Krohe, Randy Pickering, and Travis Hiel. County Vice Chair Cox was not present.
Chair Schwerer called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Review & Approval of January 8, 2020 Minutes
Member Toland moved with a second by Member Aurelio to approve the minutes of January 8, 2020 minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
MCPT Report Review & Approval
No Report.
Bushnell Senior Meals Report Review & Approval
No Report.
Coroner Report
The monthly Coroner Report was received and filed.
Monthly Financial Reports
The monthly Financial Reports were received and filed.
Transfer of Funds
None.
Scott will draft a letter to outside entities for Waste Management.

Year end update.
Warrants Issued in Vacation
Member Aurelio moved with a second by Member Clark to approve the Warrants Issued in Vacation. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Board Approval of Transfer & Appropriation of Monies
$250,000 from Insurance Clearing to Mutual Medical.

Approve Public Defender Salary
Member Toland moved to approve Public Defender FY 2020 Salary, Member Aurelio seconded. Motion passed on a voice vote.
Approve Supervisor of Assessments Salary
Member McGrew moved to Approve the Supervisor of Assessments FY 2020 Salary, Member Clark seconded. Motion carried on voice vote.
Approve Agreement for McDonough County Clerk to Perform Administrative Duties
Member Aurelio moved to Approve agreement for McDonough County Clerk’s office to Perform Administrative Assistant duties, Member Clark seconded. Motion carried on voice vote.
Member McGrew asked for the notice to be changed from 30 days to 60 days.
Approve Resolution between County Clerk and McDonough County Board
Member Toland moved to Approve Resolution between County Clerk and McDonough County Board, Member Aurelio seconded. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Approval of Claims
Member McGrew motioned to approve January claims, Member Clark seconded. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Executive Session
Motion to enter Executive Session for a Legal Matter made by, Member Toland, second by Member Aurelio. Motion carried on a roll call vote 5 yeas, 0 nays, 0 absent, 1 vacant.
Motion to exit Executive Session by Member McGrew, second Member Clark. Motion carried on a roll call vote 5 yeas, 0 nays, 0 absent, 1 vacant.
Motion made to pay the insurance claim by Member Toland, second Member Aurelio. Motion carried on a voice vote.
