Hancock County Building, Grounds and Insurance Committee met April 12.

Building, Grounds and Insurance Committee met in the County Board Room at 7:00 pm. Member present were Tom Scheetz, Chairman, Patsy Davis, Bryan Stevens, and Stephen Finney. Absent were Tom Rodgers, Gary Dittmer, Dennis Castlebury and Delbert Kreps, Chairman of the Board.
Sixty-one claims were reviewed for payment by the members. After reviewing a motion to send them to the full board for approval was made by Stephen Finney. Patsy Davis seconded the motion. All voted aye. Motion Carried.
Tom stated that he talked to Scott Bentzinger, County Sheriff and he has fifteen prisoners and one is a female. Two of them are going to the State of Illinois prison.
Tom read a letter from the Mayor of Nauvoo who is asking for the County to put a Nursing Home in Nauvoo. This letter was read at the Finance Meeting also.
Patsy and Bryan were on face chat with us for the meeting and they did review each of the claims to be paid.
Having nothing further to discuss a motion was made by Tom Scheetz to recess until May 11, 2020 at 6:30pm Bryan Stevens seconded the motion. All voted aye. Motion Carried.
