CITY OF JACKSONVILLE: Downtown Plaza Car Show & Summer Cruise Night

City of Jacksonville issued the following announcement on July 23.

The Morton Ave Misfits welcomes you to a pair of the largest automotive events in Jacksonville. The Downtown Plaza Car Show (in its 24th year) and the Spring Car Cruise on Morton Ave. (in its 6th year.)

We're excited to be one of the few events still hosting this year and we encourage you to share these event details with your car friends!

Masks will not be required, but you are encouraged to wear one should you want to!

There will be hand sanitation stations available.

The 2020 events will be held on Saturday, August 15th.

CAR SHOW: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm (Downtown Jacksonville – around the square at Main and State Streets) • All years and models welcome • $15 registration 8:00-noon • 20 Judged Classes • Food vendors on site • All proceeds go to local charities!

CRUISE: 5:00 – 9:00 pm (Morton Ave. – Headquarters at Hardees) • Cruise route from Main St. to     Lincoln Ave. cross streets • FREE to participate • Please obey ALL traffic laws
