Industry Fire Protection District responded to 30 calls in 2018 - 50 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Industry included 27 fires - seven structure fires, three vehicle fires and 17 other fires.

In all, the department saw $5,490 in fire loss - or about $203 per fire.

The department also received three false calls.

The Industry Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $71,963 in 2018.
