Nauvoo Fire Protection District responded to 12 calls in 2018 - 42.9 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Nauvoo included six fires - two structure fires and four other fires.

In all, the department saw $104,000 in fire loss - or about $17,333 per fire.

The department also received six false calls.

The Nauvoo Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $333,354 in 2018.
