Arenzville Fire & Rescue responded to 21 calls in 2018 - 27.6 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Arenzville included 17 fires - seven structure fires, one vehicle fire and nine other fires. The fire department also responded to three calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $7,375 in fire loss - or about $434 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

One fire service member was injured in non fire-related incidents.
