Point Fire Protection District responded to two calls in 2018 - 77.8 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Point included two fires - one structure fire and one other fire.

In all, the department saw $55,000 in fire loss - or about $27,500 per fire.
