Versailles Fire Protection District responded to eight calls in 2018 - 60 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Versailles included eight fires - three structure fires, two vehicle fires and three other fires.

The calls resulted in one civilian non-fire injury.

The Versailles Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $18,782 in 2018.
