Q1 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Morgan County?

There were 12 offenders released on parole during the first quarter of 2020 that live in Morgan County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that 10 men and two women were released in Morgan County. Of the parolees, one is a veteran, and the median age is 34. The youngest parolee was a 23-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2019, and the oldest was a 54-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Joshua Graham. He was convicted of a crime involving one or more weapons in 2017 when he was 28 years old. He is now 32.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter of 2020 in each Morgan County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
