City of Macomb issued the following announcement on July 20
Contractors continue to work on the milling and overlaying projects on Dudley Street, Normal Street, and Pierce Street. On Wednesday, July 21, 2021, E. Jackson Street/S. Dudley Street to the North Side of Washington Street will be closed for traffic. Detector loops (traffic signals) will be staged on Dudley to direct traffic during this process. The first layer of Asphalt on E. Pierce Street from N. Lafayette St to Johnson St will be starting on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, and the final layer of asphalt will be put down on Normal Street (Jackson St to Adams Street).
On Thursday, July 22, 2021 Detector loops (traffic signals) will be placed on Pierce and final asphalt will be put down. The final surface will be put down on Dudley Street as well.
On Friday, July 23, 2021, and Monday, July 26, 2021 contractors will be finishing Pierce Street and all sideroads on all three of these projects (Dudley Street, Pierce Street, Normal Street).
