City of Macomb issued the following announcement on Oct. 21
McCarthy Improvement will continue to pour sidewalks from 1 East Side Square to 137 S. Randolph Street for the remainder of the week into all of next week. Starting Tuesday, October 26, 2021, weather permitting, contractors will be laying asphalt on the east side of North and South Randolph Street. With the asphalt work, parking will be prohibited on the east side of North and South Randolph St.
Entrances to the businesses will be accessible through the construction process. As the contractor is pouring sidewalks in front of businesses, pedestrian walkways will continue to shift through this process. Pedestrians are encouraged to pay attention to the changing walk patterns.
