City of Macomb City Council met April 11.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

ROLL CALL

PUBLIC COMMENTS – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.

1. Public hearing for the City of Macomb’s fiscal year 2022– 2023 budget.

2. Discussion on an ordinance to amend Section 24-1 and 24-6 of the City Fee Schedule. This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.

3. Discussion on an ordinance to adopt a budget for the City of Macomb, McDonough County, Illinois for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2022 and ending April 30, 2023. This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.

4. Discussion on an ordinance to amend Section 17-102 of Chapter 17 of the Municipal Code of Macomb, Illinois pertaining to the membership of the Planning Commission. This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.

5. Discussion on an ordinance to amend Sections 17-42 and 17-762 of Chapter 17 of the Municipal Code of Macomb, Illinois pertaining to Permitted Uses in the B-3 Downtown Business District.

This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned. 6. Other business.

Executive Session

To consider information relative to:

a) Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of an employee of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act.

b) Collective Bargaining matters between the public body and its employees or representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(2) of the Open Meetings Act.

c) The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(5) of the Open Meetings Act.

d)The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(6) of the Open Meetings Act.

e) Pending or probable litigation, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(11) of the Open Meetings Act.
