McDonough County Board Human Resources and Planning Committee met Dec. 8.

The Human Resources and Planning Committee met on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, Courtroom 201. Committee Members in attendance included Chair Letha Clark, Vice Chair Vicky Kipling, George Dixon, Michael Kirby, Jerry Raby, and Dana Roy Walker. Members Dave Nissen, and Dustin Berg were absent. Others in attendance included Animal Control Officer Joe Rossmiller, Bonnie Skripps, John Vigezzi, County Chair Scott Schwerer, and County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes.
Chair Letha Clark called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Review and Approve Minutes from November 10, 2022
Member Dixon moved with a second by Member Kirby to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Animal Control Report
Animal Control Officer, Rossmiller gave the report. There was 19 dogs and 36 cats in the shelter at the end of November.
Humane Society
Bonnie Skripps gave a report on their fund-raising efforts.

None.
GIS Update
No report.
Claims
Member Dixon moved with a second by Member Raby to approve the claims as submitted. Motion carried on voice vote.

County Board Chair Comments
Chair Schwerer reminded Board Members that the Courthouse Christmas party is Friday, December 16, 2022.
Adjourn
Member Kirby moved with a second by Member Walker to adjourn the meeting at 7:25 p.m. Motion carried on a voice vote.
