Q3 2022 Recap: 1 parolee from Pike County convicted of public safety violations set for release

There was one offender convicted of a public safety violation living in Pike County released on parole during the third quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the West Central Reporter.

The data shows the released offender was a woman. She was convicted in 2022 when she was 39 years old. She is now 40.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
