CONSENT AGENDA

1. Minutes of the Macomb City Council meeting held Monday, March 20, 2023, and Committee of the Whole meeting held Monday, March 27, 2023.

PUBLIC COMMENT – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

1. Consideration of an ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Certain Personal Property (Equipment/Vehicles) owned by the City of Macomb.

This ordinance will be presented for second reading and final action is in order.

2. Consideration of an ordinance to Create a Class P plus SS plus OPC Liquor License for Nilkanth Liquor, Inc.

This ordinance will be presented for second reading and final action is in order.

3. Consideration of an ordinance to Authorize the Rezoning of a portion of Maple Ridge Addition to the City of Macomb, McDonough County, from R-1 Single Family to AG-1 Agriculture.

This ordinance will be presented for second reading and final action is in order.

4. Consideration to approve the Land Use Agreement between the City of Macomb and Larry and Anne Butcher.

This was discussed at Committee of the Whole last Monday night. Final action is in order.

5. Other unfinished business.

NEW BUSINESS

1. Consideration of an ordinance to Amend the City Fee Schedule by Amending Chapter 24 and Section 21-25 of the Municipal Code of Macomb.

This ordinance was discussed at Committee of the Whole last Monday night. City Attorney Scalf will present for first reading.

2. Consideration of an ordinance to Adopt the City of Macomb’s Fiscal Year 23-24 Budget, beginning May 1, 2023, and ending April 30, 2024.

This was discussed at Committee of the Whole last Monday night. City Attorney Scalf will present for first reading. Attachment A (handed out at COW).

3. Consideration to approve Engineering Fees to Maurer-Stutz in the amount of $4,000.00 to conduct Spring Lake Dam Inspection as required by Illinois Department of Natural Resources.

4. Consideration to authorize permission to Bid Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Project.

5. Consideration to approve the end of year transfers for FY 2022-2023.

6. Other new business.
