*City Treasurer Betsy Rench stated that she is talking with Adam Hansberger about being the city’s new auditor.
*Rench also stated she will be getting together with department heads for Budget meetings.

Personnel/Finance/Budget
*Nothing to report
Public Works
*Jeff Rench with ESDA stated that him and Mayor Wilt had a Zoom meeting with FEMA on the flood insurance program. McDonough County does not have any flood plain maps at this time.
They decided to hold off on the things until the mapping is done.
*Rench has stated there will be a training for lost persons on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
Police/Liquor/ESDA
*Activity report for February
*Chief Ferguson stated that he would like to send an individual to the part-time police academy which starts in April.
*Next meeting will be Monday, March 13, 2023, 4:00 at the complex.
Parks/Recreation/Real Estate
*Ald. Coates stated the punishments for infractions at the Rec Center will be, 1st infraction not allowed in for 6 months, 2nd infraction and you are out for good.
*The committee is wanting to plan a pickleball tournament.
*Logonix is scheduled to be at City Hall on Wednesday to connect the computers at City Hall with the one at the Rec Center so the employees at City Hall will be able to issue the Fobs and take money.
Engineering
MAEDCO
*Executive Director of MAEDCO Kim Pierce stated the CEO program is doing well and they have 36 investors at this point. They are working on their individual businesses and will be having a trade show.
*Pierce stated there were over 55 members at the Annual MAEDCO meeting
Economic Development
*The committee is working on having a fundraiser for the Depot sometime in September.
*They are working on maybe getting a hot spot for internet.
*Ald. Allen stated they needed a fire extinguisher at the Depot.
Attorney’s Report/Ordinances & Resolutions
*City Attorney Nick Tinsman stated there will be a Public Hearing for the proposed amendment to the enterprise zone on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 5:15 at the City Hall.
