The majority of students in Henderson County schools were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 729 students attending Henderson County schools, 92.9% were white. multiracial students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 2.7% of Henderson County students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Henderson County, representing 92.9% of the student body.

West Central Elementary School and West Central Middle School had the most diverse student body in Henderson County, including multiracial and white.
