The majority of students in Scott County district's were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 766 students attending Scott County district schools, 97.1% were white.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Scott County districts, representing 96.5% of the student body.

During the 2021-22 school year, all districts in Scott County had a predominantly single-race student body, consisting of white students.

In the 2021-22 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public school districts in the county dropped 4.5% when compared to the previous year.
