Discipline at Edison Elementary School: Black students most affected in 2021-22 school year

Black students, constituting 12.6% or 55 of Edison Elementary School's total student population of 435, accounted for 11 out of the 33 total suspensions (33.3%) in the 2021-22 school year, averaging one suspension per five students, according to the latest student discipline report by the Illinois State Board of Education.

Leatherneck track team starts new season aiming for OVC title

Director of Track & Field and Cross Country, Trey Brokaw, has unveiled the 2023-24 indoor track and field schedule for the Leathernecks. The team will commence their season this Friday at the newly constructed Gately facility in Chicago. Following this, they will participate in the Jimmy Grant Invitational on December 9, hosted by the University of Iowa. The remainder of their indoor competitions is scheduled post-winter break in mid-January 2024.
