On Friday, November 24, former Springfield Southeast High School standout, James Dent Jr.’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 52-84 in their NCAA D1 game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place in Champaign, Illinois. This was the first matchup against the Illinois Fighting Illini this season.

The Western Illinois Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Monday, November 27 at 6 p.m. in Madison, Wisconsin.
