City of Greenville Planning Commission met June 3.

Here are the minutes provided by the Commission:

The Planning Commission Meeting was called to order on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 6:00 PM by chairman, Jack Chism.

1. ROLL CALL   

 Committee Members Present: Planning Commission Member Brent Shaw, Planning Commission Member Dennis Warren, Planning Commission Member Eugene Holt, and Planning Commission Member Jack Chism

 Committee Members Absent: Planning Commission Member Chance Vohlken and Planning Commission Member Jane Nelson  

Staff Present: Code Enforcement Officer Jeff Ketten, City Clerk Jody Weiss Public Present: None

4. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING 

4.1. Minutes of 4-15-2024 Planning Commission Meeting. 

Motion by Dennis Warren, seconded by Brent Shaw, to approve the April 15, 2024 Planning Commission Minutes.  

RESULT: Carried  MOVER: Dennis Warren SECONDER: Brent Shaw AYES: Brent Shaw, Dennis Warren, Eugene Holt, and Jack Chism  ABSENT: Chance Vohlken and Jane Nelson

5. MATTERS OF CONSIDERATION  

5.1. Consideration of a request by Jonathan Carter to vacate the remaining portion of the alley at parcel ID #05-30-11-401-177 commonly known as 1107 East Oak Street, running west from Dewey Street north of Oak Street. 

Public Hearing was opened at 6:02 PM and closed at 6:03 PM with no comments from public. 

Motion by Dennis Warren, seconded by Eugene Holt, Motion to approve request by Jonathan Carter to vacate the remaining portion of the alley at parcel ID #05-30-11-401-177 commonly known as 1107 East Oak Street, running west from Dewey Street north of Oak Street.

6. ADJOURNMENT
