McDonough County Board Finance/Insurance Committee met Sept. 11.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

The monthly Finance Committee meeting was held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, 3 rd Floor, Law Library. Committee members present were Chair Travis Hiel, Vice Chair Larry Aurelio, Letha Clark, Dave Cortelyou, Mike Cox, Ken Durkin, and Joe Erlandson. Member Dave Nissen was absent. Others in attendance included Keith Krohe, County Chair Scott Schwerer, and County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes. 

Chair Hiel called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Review and Approve Minutes from August 14, 2024

Member Clark moved with a second by Member Aurelio to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

MCPT Report

The monthly MCPT Report was received and filed.

Bushnell Senior Meals Report Review & Approval

Member Aurelio moved with a second by Member Cortelyou to approve the YMCA invoice in the amount of $880.88 for August, 2024. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Coroner Report

The monthly Coroner Report was received and filed.

Monthly Financial Reports

The monthly Financial Reports were received and filed.

Transfer of Funds

$250,000.00 was transferred to Mutual Medical.

Warrants Issued in Vacation

Member Aurelio moved with a second by Member Clark to approve the Warrants Issued in Vacation.

Motion carried on a voice vote.

Insurance Update

Keith Krohe gave an update.

Approve Resolution to Amend FY 2024 McDonough County General Fund Budget

Member Aurelio moved with a second by Member Durkin to approve the Resolution to Amend FY 2024 McDonough County General Fund Budget. Motion carried on a voice vote.

FY 2025 Budget Review

The budget was reviewed and discussed.

Approval of Claims

Member Aurelio moved with a second by Member Cortelyou to approve the Claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Adjourn

Member Clark moved with a second by Member Aurelio to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 p.m. Motion carried on a voice vote.
