Electronic recycling event scheduled for Nov. 9th in Jerseyville

Illinois State Representative Christopher Davidsmeyer | Representative Christopher "C.D" Davidsmeyer (R) 100th District

State Representative C.D. Davidsmeyer is set to sponsor an electronic recycling event in Jerseyville on Saturday, November 9, 2024. The initiative will take place at the Jerseyville Community Hospital located at 400 Maple Summit Road, from 9:00 AM to noon.

The event invites residents to recycle a wide range of electronic items. According to Rep. Davidsmeyer, participants can bring "anything with a cord and anything metal to recycle." Accepted items include servers, PC towers, printers, landline phones, cable boxes, cell phones, wireless modems, audio and video equipment, holiday lights, home electronics, and lead acid batteries. However, alkaline batteries will not be accepted.
