City of Macomb Committee of the Whole met October 28.

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

PUBLIC COMMENT

      Citizens wishing to address the Committee of the Whole on matters germane to the agenda of the meetings will be limited to 3 minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.

DISCUSSION ITEMS

      1. Discussion of an Ordinance Approving Lease Agreement with Yetter Manufacturing Company.

            This ordinance had first reading October 21, 2024. Discussion is planned.

      2. Discussion of an Ordinance Approving Sublease Agreement with Macomb Area Convention and Visitor's Bureau.

            This ordinance had first reading October 21, 2024. Discussion is planned.

      3. Discussion on Authorizing a Revolving Loan Application for CBPB Popcorn Shop in the amount of $15,000.00, for two-years at 3% interest.

            This was recommended by the Community Development Committee at their meeting on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Discussion is planned.

      4. Discussion on Ordinance to create two additional handicap accessible parking spaces in the 100 block of E Carroll St.

            Memo and map included in the packet. Discussion is planned.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

      To consider information relative to:

      1. Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of an employee of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (1) of the Open Meetings Act.

      2. Collective Bargaining matters between the public body and its employees or representatives or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (2) of the Open Meetings Act.

      3. The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (5) of the Open Meetings Act.

      4. The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (6) of the Open Meetings Act.

      5. Pending or probable litigation, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (11) of the Open Meetings Act.
