Western Illinois University is set to face UT-Martin in a three-game series, which has been rescheduled due to potential weather issues. The games will now take place from Thursday to Saturday, with start times at 3:00 PM on Thursday, 2:00 PM on Friday, and 1:00 PM on Saturday.
Liam Bushey has been performing exceptionally well for Western Illinois. The right fielder batted .588 last week and drove in four RBIs with two doubles and a home run. His efforts included scoring the game-winning run against Cincinnati.

The university joined the Ohio Valley Conference on July 1st, becoming its 11th member. All teams transitioned to this conference by January 1st.
In preparation for upcoming games, Western Illinois will don new uniforms thanks to a donation from the 1974 Hall of Fame Baseball team. This donation celebrates their team's induction into the Western Illinois Hall of Fame in 2019.
The Leatherneck Baseball team raised over $18,000 at their First Pitch Dinner event held on February 3rd, aimed at supporting various aspects of their program including facility upgrades and player development tools.
This season marks the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Western Illinois's renowned 1974 Hall of Fame team that made an appearance in the NCAA Division II Mideast Regional tournament. Their record remains one of the best in Leatherneck Baseball history.
