FOIA Request to City Of La Harpe Regarding Unpaid Parking Violations on October 28, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at West Central Reporter have sent a request under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140, to the City Of La Harpe. The request was sent on October 28, 2024, seeking information about all parking violations currently unpaid in the city.
The specifics of the request include the name of the offender, their address, the amount due for each violation, the date of violation and total due. This information is crucial in holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
