Western Illinois University's women's basketball team has announced the addition of Mallory Shetley to their 2025-2026 roster. Shetley, a forward from Bourbon, Missouri, transfers from Columbia College where she was the all-time leading scorer with 2,197 points.

In her last season at Columbia College, Shetley averaged 17.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game across 32 games. Her defensive contributions included 43 blocks and 33 steals. Throughout her time with the Cougars, she earned multiple accolades including five All-AMC First Team selections and three All-AMC Defensive Team honors. In her freshman year, she was named AMC Freshman of the Year with an average of 13.1 points per game.

Shetley's record-breaking achievements include most field goals in a career (849), most free throws attempted (575), most free throws made (446), and achieving a perfect free throw percentage in a single game earlier this year.

Head coach JD Gravina expressed enthusiasm about Shetley's arrival: "We are really excited to add Mallory to an already loaded roster. She brings so much experience and maturity, both as a basketball player and as a person."

During her tenure at Columbia College, Shetley started in nearly every game, amassing a total of 827 rebounds which ranks third in program history. At Western Illinois University, she will join forces with Mia Nicastro and Raegan McCowan who were recognized on the All-OVC First Team last season.
