The Western Illinois University women's golf team ended its fall season at the Charles Braun Jr. Intercollegiate, held in Evansville, Indiana. The event took place at Oak Meadow Country Club and was hosted by the University of Evansville.
On the first day of play, the Leathernecks posted a team score of 357 over 18 holes. Sophomore Sophia Thorne led Western Illinois with a round of 84. Freshman Dina Khvastovic followed with an 89, while junior Libby Larkin and sophomore Cianna Law each carded scores of 92.
During the second round, Western Illinois recorded a team score of 359, finishing with a two-round total of 716 (+140). Thorne again paced the team with an 88, matched by Khvastovic’s 88. Larkin shot a 91 and Law finished with a 92.
Final individual scores included Thorne at +28 (56th place), Khvastovic at +33 (60th), Larkin at +39 (63rd), and Law at +40 (64th).
The Leathernecks wrapped up their fall campaign with this tournament and will return to competition in spring for their 2026 schedule. Tournament details for the upcoming season will be announced later.
