On Tuesday, November 28, former Evansville High School standout, Maria Messling’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 86-72 in their NCAA D1 game against the Chicago State Cougars.

The game took place in Macomb, Illinois. This was the first matchup against the Chicago State Cougars this season.

The Western Illinois Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, December 2 at 1 p.m. in Macomb, Illinois.
