Greenfield Community Unit School District No. 10 Board of Education met March 21 to unanimously accept a bid from Midwest Transit for a 2015 71-passenger International school bus for $81,020, less $22,000 for the trade-in of a 2009 International 65-passenger bus.
Delivery will be after July 1.
The board also authorized Superintendent Kevin Bowman to develop a tentative budget for 2016-17; approved awarding the $26,2000 high school gym project to Louco Construction; approved the Sangamon Area Purchasing Cooperative Intergovernmental Agreement Resolution; authorized Bowman to seek bids for milk, bread and refuse collection; and hired Tyann Hallock as the girls' volleyball coach.
The Greenfield CUSD No. 10 Board of Education serves the city of Greenfield.
