East Pike Fire Protection District responded to 13 calls in 2017 - 116.7 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in East Pike included 13 fires - six structure fires, one vehicle fire and six other fires.

In all, the department saw $88,000 in fire loss - or about $6,769 per fire.

The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related injury.

The East Pike Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $94,113 in 2017.
