Southeastern Community Unit School District 337 students suspended 3 times in a single school year

Southeastern Community Unit School District 337 reported three suspensions for 2016-17, according to the latest student discipline report by the Illinois State Board of Education.

According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 3 students during the year. That equates to 0.6 percent of the 486 students enrolled.

The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes two incidents. There were one incidents of violence that caused physical injury. For three incidents, students were suspended for 1-3 days.
