School discipline: Which West Central Illinois districts reported the most gun-related suspensions?

Triopia Community Unit School District 27 and Jacksonville School District 117 reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to firearms during the 2016-17 school year in West Central Illinois, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
