Report: Schuyler Industry spent $9,799 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Schuyler Industry Community Unit School District 5 is down 7.9 percent from five years ago, according to a West Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Schuyler County school district spent $10,641 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,799 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1212 to 1071.

Schuyler Industry's spending in 2017-18 was 26.5 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
